David Silipigno Foundation

David Silipigno belongs to Saratoga County and is a top businessman and kindhearted human being. He believes in empowering the weaker sections of the society and especially wants to help the underprivileged children. He established the David Silipigno Foundation and the foundation is solely dedicated towards enhancing the lives of the needy and underprivileged children residing in the Saratoga County and nearby areas.

David Silipigno thinks that leading by example is the best way to encourage others, he and his staff contribute whole heartedly to various charitable events in Saratoga County and its surrounding areas. He also believes that the successful people can play key role in the development of the society by assisting the needy and thus, after achieving success, one must help others in their progress. David Silipigno also believes in sharing his success for betterment of others.

David Silipigno ventured into business early and became an entrepreneur at the age of 19 and in his mid 20s he had more than 600 employees on rolls. His first business venture was National Financial Corp. (NFC) and this venture helped him in gaining tremendous experience of managing business and entrepreneurship. It also helped in providing great employement opportunities to youth in Saratoga County. David Silipigno has been responsible for teaching the mortgage business to thousands over the past 18 years.

David Silipigno wants to create an ongoing financial resource which can support various innovative direct service programs for contributing to the society. David Silipigno Foundation also supports other community-based organizations that aim to provide help to the children. They are granted financial donations on annual basis. He has supported various events such as PAWS For A Cause, LARKfest, Albany Tulip Festival, The FUTURES Tour and The Northeast Family Chocolate Festival. He had also donated $775,000 to the Albany Academy for Girls and the academy named a facility after him to honor him. He has also been honored with prestigious 'In the Spirit of Service Award' by the Arthritis Foundation of NENY.
